My Go-to Hummus Recipe

There are a million different hummus recipes out there, but in my not so humble option, this one is the best. It’s so quick to throw together but be warned…you’ll never buy store-bought hummus again.

It will keep for a few days in the fridge and freezes really well too.

INGREDIENTS


2 cans organic chickpeas (drained) ⁣
1/4 c Extra virgin olive oil⁣
1/4 c filtered water ⁣
3 T tahini (my favorite is the 365 brand) ⁣
1 T cumin ⁣
1 tsp salt ⁣
1 clove garlic (crushed) ⁣
1/4 tsp Fresh ground black pepper ⁣
Juice from 1/2 large lemon ⁣
Handful of fresh parsley ⁣

DIRECTIONS


Place all ingredients into a food processor or high speed blender and blend until smooth. You may add more Olive oil or water until desired texture is achieved. Serve with fresh veggies or warm pita.
