Hormone Healthy Radish Salsa

In my opinion, radishes are one of the most underrated veggies, but they are SO good!

Cruciferous veggies like radishes are really helpful for hormone health because they support your body’s natural detoxification systems and contain a compound called 3,3-Diindolylmethane, which has been shown to reduce high estrogen levels and support estrogen detox in the liver.

This salsa is exactly what you need to take your tacos (or pozole) to the next level, but to be honest I put it on pretty much everything.

This is my mom’s recipe, but she agreed to let me share it and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Here’s what you need!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 bunches of red radishes (finely chopped)

  • 2 green onions

  • 1 jalapeno (finely chopped)

  • ½ cup cilantro (roughly chopped)

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon (or lime)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

Finely chop all the vegetables and mix with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir well, chill until ready to serve.
