Hormone Healthy Matcha Macadamia Bliss Balls

Matcha is often seen as a tasty alternative to coffee but it packs a serious punch of antioxidants too. It’s delicious as a latte or added into everything from granola to muffins.

Just 1 tsp has more antioxidants than wild blueberries, Gogi berries, dark chocolate and spinach! Yes please!

ECCG the compound found in matcha, increases energy and endurance while also providing a feeling of calm, and mental focus (without the post coffee jitters).  And the combo of healthy fats and proteins in these bliss balls is perfect for supporting healthy hormones any time of day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c unsalted macadamia nuts 

  • 1/2 shredded coconut (unsweetened)

  • 1/4 c vanilla protein powder (use your favorite)

  • 1 tsp matcha 

  • 4-5 drops vanilla stevia 

  • 2 T filtered water (more if needed) 

DIRECTIONS

In a food processor combine all ingredients and blend until crumbly. Add more water as needed until it pinches together easily, similar to a cookie dough texture. 

Roll into small balls and enjoy. These keep great in the fridge or freezer and are great pre workout or for a little energy boost mid afternoon.
